1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Aeon mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Aeon is provided and operated by Elias Pirktl, a sole proprietorship based in Austria. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. No Medical or Statistical Prediction (Disclaimer)

Aeon is a tool intended solely for reflection, mindfulness, and motivation. The visualizations provided—including life in weeks, remaining seasons, and countdowns—are based on generalized mathematical calculations and statistical averages.

Important: These visualizations do NOT constitute medical advice, health forecasts, or a literal or guaranteed prediction of your life expectancy. The App does not have any knowledge of your actual health status. The use of Aeon and the interpretation of its data is entirely at your own risk and emotional responsibility.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Aeon offers premium features accessible through subscriptions or a one-time "Lifetime" purchase.

• Free Trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, the subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription.
• Lifetime Access: The "Lifetime" purchase grants you access to premium features for the entire duration that the App is commercially available and supported by the developer. It does not refer to the literal lifetime of the user.
• Payments & Refunds: All transactions, billing, and refunds are handled exclusively by the Apple App Store. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support for any billing inquiries.

4. User Conduct & Content

You must be at least 13 years old to use Aeon. You are responsible for any text or milestones you enter into the App. You agree not to use the App to store or display any content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

The "Aeon" name, the "Broken Ring" logo, the specific UI/UX design, and all original content within the App are the exclusive intellectual property of Elias Pirktl. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Aeon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, data loss, or reliance on the App's visualizations.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Handelsgericht Innsbruck (Commercial Court Innsbruck, Austria).

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
