1. Our Philosophy

Aeon is built on the principle of Privacy by Design. We believe that your life's timeline and milestones are deeply personal. We have designed the app so that we never have access to your personal events, birthdays, or countdowns.

2. Data Storage & Sync (Apple CloudKit)

Aeon uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your devices.

• Your data is stored in your private iCloud database.
• We (the developers) cannot access, read, or download your personal life data.
• Your data is protected by Apple's security protocols.

3. Analytics (PostHog)

To improve Aeon, we use PostHog, an analytics platform.

• We collect anonymized usage data (e.g., "Which features are used most often?").
• This data does not include your personal milestones, names of events, or specific dates.
• We use this solely to fix bugs and improve the user experience.

4. Subscriptions & Payments (RevenueCat)

Aeon offers subscriptions managed via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store.

• When you subscribe, RevenueCat tracks your subscription status using an anonymous identifier.
• All financial transactions are handled securely by Apple. Aeon does not store your credit card details or billing address.

5. No Registration Required

You can use Aeon "out of the box." We do not require an email address, password, or any social media login. Your identity remains anonymous to us.
